A Work of Art
The Deed is a unique artwork that is intended to impress and to give
lasting pleasure, either as a Scottish
gift or memento.
From this brief, senior designer Paul Storie of Shaw Marketing & Design in Edinburgh
has created an overall effect to give that crisp New Scottish bank note feel,
whilst imposing a distinctly Scottish aura.
The map of Scotland, and the illustrations of Eilan Donan Castle and the Forth Bridge
were created by noted illustrator Gaynor Shephard, a graduate of Edinburgh College
of Art.
Special attention was given to achieving just the right print
effect: Paul Storie worked closely with Liz Blair of Edinburgh printers
Geo Stewart & Co
Ltd to combine the special metallic effect paper, the silver foil blocking
and the embossing which add so much to the
viewing experience.
The achievement of these highly skilled professionals has exceeded our
expectations, produced a unique Scottish
gift and will, we are sure,
delight our Owners.
